Figures In The Pedestrian Subway

Moving figure in passage

The pedestrians walked at a quick pace

Shot in the city of Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The pedestrians were scurrying in the underground passage near Shinjuku station. Most of them were heading for the entrance of the station.

Because they were walking at a brisk trot, I thought they were busy. Besides, they were moving individually, without saying a word. I felt as if it were prohibited to talk here. The passage was silent. So I walked also in silence like other people. The only sound I could hear was the sound of their steps.
