The passage under the railway was dim. Although this area was near the Yurakucho station and one of the entertainment districts in Tokyo, it was wrapped by the dimness and was not nearly as colorful as the gorgeousness of the area.
When I stood in the midst of the dim passage, I could see the floridness outside of it. Wherever there was the light there was the shadow. A woman was going at a brisk trot to the well-lighted area.
