There were a number of lanterns and signs for bars in a narrow alley

As I entered through the secluded entrance, I found a narrow alley stretching straight ahead. The alleyway I entered in Yurakucho was covered with a roof, making it dark even in the daytime. Instead, there were electric lights here and there, and the alley was lined with restaurants and bars on both sides. This alley is a drinking area. All of the stores had signs to appeal to passersby, and their presence was glamorously proclaimed. The large lantern I came across said "Cow" on it.

Until I walked into the alley, I never dreamed that such a world existed in this place. As I walked, I could feel the delicious atmosphere wafting from there and here. I felt as if I had wandered into a secret paradise.
