Along the Yamate line, there is an area where many small bars are close-packed. It is called 'Nonbei Yokocho', an elbow-bender lane as an unsophisticated name. The bars doing business here were retro-flavored.
Some signboards were hung at the entrances of the bars and the red-and-white lanterns were suspended in the center of the lane. Because it was still daytime at the time of shooting, the alleyway was deserted. The deserted feeling made me melancholy.
