This is the intersection of Meiji Street and Route 246 in Shibuya. Of course, there is a lot of traffic, and pedestrians have to cross a pedestrian bridge to cross the road. On the other hand, there is a bicycle lane. The bicycle lane was marked with a bicycle symbol, probably because they thought it was too confusing to see if it was only marked with a white line. And it was politely explained in the characters.
Still, easy to find and easy to use are two different things. It takes a bit of courage to ride with cars at such a busy intersection.
