There were several tables set up on the side of the road in Bangkok, like a restaurant. Many people were seated and crowded around. The shopkeepers seemed to be busy. It seemed to be a popular restaurant. There were bowls on every table, indicating that this was a restaurant that served noodles. I have a feeling that many food stalls and simple restaurants like this one serve noodles. For noodles, you can just boil instant noodles or dried noodles in a big pot, but for rice, you have to cook it, so I guess it's a bit of a hassle.
One of the many customers was the couple in this photo. They were sitting facing each other, slurping their noodles. The woman was just about to put some of the ingredients in her mouth when her mouth tightened and she started to puff. She seemed to be staring into the distance, pondering something. The woman's attention was not on the noodles she was eating, nor was it on the man sitting in front of her. Her heart was already full and seemed to have already flown away.
