In front of Nishiogi station, there is an area of densely packed alleys. The narrow alleys are lined with small stores on both sides, giving the area a unique, chaotic atmosphere that is very attractive. To a rationalist, such a dense area may be a place that needs to be redeveloped as soon as possible, but it is places like this that nurture a town's character and charm. The air is clean as far as the eye can see, and there is a unique vibrancy here that you won't find in a place lined with chain stores. That is why it is worth a visit.
Although the sun was still high in the sky, many of the stores in the alley were open for business. Customers were sitting at tables in front of the stores, enjoying their meals in their own way.
