Clock Tower In Dutch Square

Clock tower in Dutch Square

A trishaw waited for customers in the square

Shot at Dutch square in Malacca, Malaysia.

A square clock tower stood in the Dutch Square. It was originally built in 1886. At first, the clock was made in England. It was replaced by a new clock made by SEIKO, a Japanese company, in 1982.

The square is one of the major tourist destinations in Malacca. Many tourists visit here and many people doing business with the tourists. The trishaw was that kind of business. When I came to the tower, a decorative trishaw with an umbrella was waiting for customers near the tower.
