The architecture in the background is Porta de Santiago. It is said that Porta de Santiago is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Southeast Asia and the Far East. It was built in the 16th century. Of course, it lost its function as a fortress already. And it is now a tourist attraction in Malacca.
When I entered the square in front of the old gate, I found a trishaw with an umbrella. It was waiting for customers in a leisurely way.
