Even in the boiling heat, children played around outside
It was a hot day. While the boiling heat was making me feel exhausted, it seemed to be giving power to the children. From the top of the building, I looked down at the park below and saw children playing around in the sun. They seem to be playing tag in this heat.
In contrast to the children running around in the sun, I was watching them from an air-conditioned place, full of energy. Children who can run around even in the sweltering heat are full of energy. I felt like I had that kind of vigor, too, but when I realized it, it had vanished somewhere and there was no trace of it in me.
