When I came to a courtyard of the temple, I saw some young monks sitting on the ground. They were just carving a wooden statue there. The young man in this photo was one of them. The courtyard was also used as a studio. What he was making seemed to be a deity called Hanuman.
The statues would be sold to the tourist and contributed to the temple. Besides, he could accumulate virtues.
When I focused on him, he stopped working and looked at my camera with a smile.
