Shot in the city of Saidpur, Bangladesh.
When I ran the country roads, I saw many big fishnets in the ponds or the rice paddies. The big implement in this photo was also a fishnet. It was so big that some men could sit on its bars. They were waiting for getting a nibble in the net there.
People sunk the net into the water and picked it up to catch fishes. The mechanism was very simple and it was an age-old technology. Same type of machine was mentioned on Zhuangzi written in 3rd century BC.
