I was hanging around the Sealdah station in Kolkata. I had imagined that the only people near the station were those who were going somewhere and those who had come to Kolkata from somewhere else, but that was not the case. There were more people carrying in and out of the train than I had expected. In India, unloading from trucks is done by hand. In the same way, loading and unloading of the train are also done by hand.
There are quite a few manual laborers around the station, too. The man with the mustache in the photo was one such worker, probably tired after loading and unloading so many times. He was sitting and resting against the yellow wall. When I pointed the camera at him, he looked a little troubled.
