Shot at Erawan Shrine in Bangkok, Thailand
The hotel which I stayed in was located near Erawan Shrine. Therefore, I visited the shrine every day before going out. The precinct of the shrine was crowded from early morning. It opens from 8:00 am to 22:00 pm. And the worshippers come to pray without interruption. The shrine which enshrines Brahma, a Hindu deity, is very popular with local people. Besides, there are also tourists like me.
This small shrine is believed that a wish comes true when people pray here. The visitors come here with their own hope. It means that many hopes are wriggling in this small precinct. It stays far away from becoming enlightened.
On this occasion, the boy in this photo was playing in an innocent way on a bench placed on the edge of the precinct. This little boy seemed no to bring any hopes here.
