The cycle rickshaw is a Pedicab with a seat attached to a bicycle. The word "rickshaw" is derived from the Japanese word "rikisha". Different countries have different locations for mounting the seat and call it by different names. In India, Nepal, and Bangladesh, it is called a cycle rickshaw, in Vietnam and Cambodia it is called a cyclo, in Thailand it is called a samlor, in Myanmar it is called a saika, in Indonesia it is called a becak, in Malaysia and Singapore it is called a trishaw.
