A pedicab passed by me again. It ran along with some automobiles. Because cars were parked on both sides of the street and some pedestrians walked, automobiles could not run the street fast. And the speed fitted to the human-powered vehicle. The pedicab followed right behind a car.
Two passenger seats were attached to the pedicab. One faced forward and the other faced backward. It could be a hard task to carry two persons at the same time for the pedicab driver. Yet it was a common matter here. This driver pedaled as if it was a piece of cake.
When the car running ahead stopped for a while, the pedicab also stopped in the middle of the street. The female passenger who sat facing backward put an umbrella up easy. I could see her face clearly. Under the sunshade, I saw her sitting idly.
