Rickshaw Wallah Caught My Eye

Rickshaw wallah pedaling

The rickshaw wallah looked at me

Shot in the city of Berhampore, India.

The transportation device for the locals was cycle rickshaw. Many cycle rickshaw were running around in the city center. It was easy to hire whenever the people wanted to ride. I thought the number of them was larger than the demand. I saw many rickshaw wallah who had time on their hands during rambling along.

When I walked the lane, a cycle rickshaw was coming. Its seat was empty. And the rickshaw wallah caught my eye. He seemed to be also fishing his customers.
