Many silhouettes were wriggling around the sunlit Marunouchi Oazo entrance

I stopped at a crossing corridor of Oazo in Marunouchi and looked down. Not many people pass through this corridor. Perhaps not many people even knew it was here in the first place. In contrast, many people were constantly passing by in the corridor below. I watched the scene from above.

Sunlight poured down from the large glass walls of the corridor, silhouetting all the people passing below. Their movements never stop, flowing ceaselessly. Like the flow of a river, it never ceases, not even for a moment.

The name Oazo means “oasis” or “place of rest” in Esperanto. However, all that comes into view are people busily moving toward somewhere. Their silhouettes do not convey the peacefulness of an oasis or the tranquility of a place of rest and relaxation. There was only the speed of the flow of people.
