Silhouetted Couple In Tokyo Building

Silhouetted couple in Tokyo Building

A silhouetted coupled walked the deserted entrance hall

Shot at Tokyo Buildings in Marunouchi, Tokyo.

Passing the Tokyo station, I entered the area called Marunouchi. The name meant 'Inside of the moat' because this area was sandwiched by the moats of Edo castle which is now the Imperial Palace. Yet the outer moat was reclaimed and vanished. Same as Otemachi, this area is one of the centers of the Japanese economy. The famous big companies do business here.

Entered Tokyo Building which is one of the gigantic buildings in this area. It was a weekend. So the entrance hall was silent and deserted. The workers of the major companies seemed to have also an absence.

Watched the entrance hall from the upstairs. The only thing which moved was a guardsman. Unlike employees of the major enterprise, he had to work also on the weekend. In the meantime, other objects appeared. They were silhouetted and walked slowly in the dim entrance hall.
