Came to Hamarikyu Gardens after a long interval. This garden was originally built as a part of a mansion of a feudal lord during the Edo period. And now it is open to the public. Unlike before, many foreign tourists were seen in the garden. It is located in the center of Tokyo. So it was easy to visit.
The personality of this garden is a pond which is filled with seawater. Therefore, it is said the atmosphere around the pond is changed in the tidal zone. Two small islands floated in the pond. And some bridges connect between the islands and the banks.
The island in this photo is one of them. Standing on the bank, I watched the visitors walking through the islands and bridges. They were silhouetted and I felt as if I watched a shadow play to watch silhouetted people walking on the islands and bridges.
