Umbrella On Engetsu-Kyo Bridge

Couple crossing bridge

A couple was crossing the bridge called Engetsu-Kyo

Shot at Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu, Kagawa.

When I was watching Engetsu-Kyo from the hill called 'Hiraiho', I saw a woman crossing the bridge. She was putting a white sunshade up. There were many pine trees in the garden. And the bridge seemed to be surrounded by the pine trees.

The name of this garden is 'Ritsurin' and it means 'Woods of chestnut'. In contrast with the name, most of trees planted in this garden were pine trees. It was said that the woods of chestnut was existed once near the gate.
