Just after entering Hamarikyu Gardens, there is a place like a square. There, a woman wearing a kimono was standing with an umbrella outstretched. Nowadays it's rare to see a person dressed in kimono, and a coarse oilpaper umbrella is also rare. This woman was not a person who came to this garden for a walk. She was a street performer.
The female street performer was spinning an umbrella with a ball on top of it. The woman looked very happy, as did the people who surrounded her and watched her perform. The street performance she was performing was called "Kasa no Kyoku" from the Taikagura juggling act.
