The Hamarikyu Gardens, built on the seashore, have a tidal inlet pond. As the name suggests, the pond is fed by water from Tokyo Bay. There is an island in the middle of the pond, connected to the pond area by a bridge. I was looking at the island and the bridge from a little distance. Few people were visiting the garden that day, and there were few people crossing the bridge.
As I set up my camera, I saw a figure crossing the bridge. A well-dressed silhouette moved slowly across the bridge. After crossing the bridge, the figure disappeared from view. And there was no one on the bridge.
