The diagonal crosswalk just in front of the Shibuya station is always busy. The situation attracts many foreign tourists and I can see them taking photos of the situation. Yet the pedestrian crossing in this photo is also busy unsurpassably.
Once the traffic light turned green, the crowd started to cross the street altogether. The street was filled with the pedestrians. And I felt as if I watched a flood.
By the way, the street which the pedestrians crossing was a small river called Udagawa river. It became a closed conduit before the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. I thought most of the pedestrian didn't know the fact.
