Walking up the hill on the outskirts of the city of Chiapa de Corso, I found the ruins of a church. The roof was crumbling and all that was left was the wall. The historic church in the center of the city was packed with people, but few visited a church in ruins like this one. No wonder. It would be difficult to feel God's presence in such an abandoned church. Of course, there are no crosses inside or anywhere else.
But it seemed that the ruin was still used for something. I didn't know about it, but it might be a historic place in fact.
