Dogs have long since gone from being pets to members of the family, and cafes where people can bring their dogs are becoming more common. These are called dog cafes. Since I do not own a pet, I do not go to a dog cafe, so I can only imagine what the etiquette is in a dog cafe. In other words, when you open the menu, is there a dog menu as well as a human menu? What is obvious to those who know what they are doing is unknown to me.
There are many stylish restaurants in Azabu Juban, and as I walked along, taking in the city air, I noticed that the door of one restaurant was open. It is not unusual to see the inside of a restaurant with the door open. What caught my attention was a dog. A dog with a leash was sitting at the entrance watching the traffic. I am not sure if this is a dog cafe or not, but I am sure that the owner brought the dog here. While the owner was sipping coffee and eating snacks inside, the dog was not eating anything and was curious about the people passing by, which suggests that there is no menu for dogs here. Is it correct to understand that this is a place where you can bring your dog, but it is not a dog cafe? Or is such an understanding wrong?
