A couple was looking at the menu served on the wooden deck in a friendly manner

I entered the store thinking it was a select store selling books, sundries, clothes, furniture, etc., converted from a publisher's warehouse, but the atmosphere inside was totally different from what I was expecting. Food products filled most of the store's space, and there was also an eat-in corner. I didn't realize it until I went inside because the exterior of the store looked the same as before, but it turns out that the former la kagu in Yaraicho has been transformed into a lifestyle store called "AKOMEYA TOKYO."

I checked and found that la kagu closed on January 31, 2019, which is more than three years ago. That means I haven't been here for at least three years. I had come to la kagu to see if there were any interesting books on display in the renovated warehouse built in the 1960s, but my guess was completely off.

I went out from the exit on the second floor and looked idly at the wooden deck on the first floor. This wooden deck seemed the same as before. However, the contents of the store had changed completely. I felt as if the personality of a classmate whom I hadn't seen in a long time had changed.
