In the middle of the approach to Yasukuni Jinja Shrine, which stretches straight toward the main hall, there is a large gate called Shin-mon. The door of the big gate is also big. A large chrysanthemum crest, 1.5 meters in diameter, was attached to the top of the large door. The Yasukuni Jinja Shrine here in Kudan is a Shinto shrine with a deep connection to the Imperial Family.

There was no end to the number of worshippers coming and going through the gate to the shrine. However, few people pay any attention to this huge chrysanthemum crest. Most of them just walked past the crest as if nothing had happened. In such a situation, the chrysanthemum crest was quietly shining in the sun.
