A man was sitting on the roadside in front of the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque. Judging from his appearance, he appeared to be a Muslim. The knit cap-like cap he was wearing was called a taqiyah, which is worn by Muslims. Even in Sri Lanka, a predominantly Buddhist country, about 7% of the population is Muslim. In Japan, there are very few Muslims, so I was not really aware of them, but there are quite a few Muslims in other Asian countries.
The man wore a white taqiyah, a white shirt, and a white beard. Everything was white. His whiteness looked very good under the strong tropical sunlight.
