On a street corner in Dhaka, this man on a bicycle stopped in front of me. He was wearing a white Muslim cap called a Taqiyah and a white sherwani. Most noticeable was his beard. Judging by his appearance, he was a perfect Muslim by all accounts.
Not that I had approached the man, but that he had stopped his bicycle on purpose to see a foreigner with a different skin that he did not often see. For a man who could afford such a detour, he was in a hurry, or perhaps because he was angry about something, and his forehead was covered with raised veins.
