Under normal circumstances, a main tower of the Edo castle is standing on the top of the stone wall. Yet it was not rebuilt after being destroyed by fire.
No architectures were seen on the top of the basement for a long time. Alternatively, a pine tree grew there. It seemed to thrive on the stone wall. It stretched as if it was looking around from above. I wondered how the tree drew nutrition from the basement. Anyway, I thought it was not enough big to swap roles of the main tower.
