The old man put his elbow on the table placed by the wayside
An older man in a white T-shirt was relaxing on the side of the road in Kolkata. His mouth was half-open, and his appearance conveyed an overwhelming sense of weakness. Beside this man, there was a small item on the table. It looks like the man is selling them, so he's not just relaxing, he's running a leisurely little general store.
There are as many street vendors the city of Kolkata. It may be because it is expensive to set up a shop. Many of them sell their wares on the side of the road. But most of them appeal to pedestrians so that they know that they are there to sell and what they are selling. In such a situation, the old man's shop in this photo was not clear whether this was a shop or not, let alone what he was selling. The shop was full of a sense of weakness.
