A boy in a T-shirt threw a sparkling glance at me. It wasn't just a sparkling look, it was a look that radiated from his big eyes. When I looked at his cheeks, they were so plump that I wondered what was in them. They seemed to be filled with curiosity about being photographed. Moreover, they seemed to be getting bigger little by little. I was worried that if I kept pointing the lens at him, his cheeks would explode.

When I removed the lens from the boy, his mouth, which had been closed earlier, opened and he started talking to me in machine-gun style. It was probably Marathi, the common language around Daulatabad, but I couldn't understand it at all. The boy looked a little disappointed when he saw me puzzled. I wondered what he wanted to tell me.
