A hut stood at a busy intersection. This was in front of the bus station in Berhampore, which I assumed was the center of the city. Looking out the window from inside the hut, I saw many cycle-rickshaws on the road. When I left Kolkata town, I didn't see many rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws became more common. I wondered why. It seemed that the rickshaws are only running in the big city.
This place was just in front of the bus station, so there were a lot of people strutting around and it was very lively. There were some big signboards above the cycle rickshaw running. The official language here in Bengal is Bengali, but the sign was written in English.
