I was strolling through the Old Town of Galle, which is a World Heritage Site. Perhaps it was the time of year, but there were not many tourists. The only people I met were locals. One of them, a man wearing a white hat worn by Muslims, was riding a bicycle. He seemed to be interested in seeing a foreigner with a camera walking around. When I asked him if I could take his picture, he looked as if he was biting a bitter bug. The man looked as if he was biting his tongue, but he still let me take a picture of him while he was still on his bicycle.
