There are many street vendors by the roadside, selling all sorts of things. Some sell fruits, others daily necessities. Food stalls are the most prominent feature of Yangon's streets. Food stalls can be found here and there, selling various kinds of food. Some stalls serve stewed dishes, others stir-fry, and still others serve noodles.

The table in the photo is also from a stall on the street. There is a pot in the center of the table, and meat skewers are arranged around it. This is a food stall called “Wet tha dok hto," Burmese pork offal skewers. In Myanmar, you can often see such stalls. They often sell sausage or fish dumplings, but this stall seems to be one that serves skewers of pork chops.

The pork chops are placed at the end of the table, and the skewers are arranged around a pot. The food is ready to eat at any time, but there was no one here. There were no customers, let alone the owner. The nearby food stalls were crowded with customers, but only this one was quiet.
