A man with a wide forehead was working in a workshop that was on the side of the road in Malda. Tools were scattered around the man and in front of him was a rickshaw wheel. The man was a cycle-rickshaw repairman.
The fact that there are so many cycle rickshaws running around town means that there must be a lot of vehicles that break down. Walking around city in India, I occasionally saw a man repairing a cycle rickshaw. This man's business seemed to be reasonably busy as well.
As I stopped in front of the workshop to watch him work, he began to spin the wheel as if to check if he had fixed it properly. And while the wheel was spinning, he glanced at me.
