When you buy a lot of things in Myanmar and find it difficult to carry them around, it is convenient to take a pedicab called a Saiq-ka. Saiq-ka drivers are proud of their strength, so no matter how much luggage they are carrying, they can easily carry it all on their backs. And it is very easy to catch a Saiq-ka in the center of town, as there are always Saiq-ka drivers waiting for customers.
The Saiq-ka that crossed my path in front of me in Pyay was also carrying two passengers and some baskets. No matter how strong the paddler was, it seemed heavy to pedal with two passengers and large loads, and he looked as if he was in pain.
