Not so many trains ran in Sri Lanka. Although there were many railway tracks near the Galle station, it was uncommon to see the trains running here. Most of the time, the railways were used by local people for walking.
Three boys who were wearing the same white uniforms were walking on the railroad. Because the trains ran slowly, there was plenty of time to stand aside from the trains. So the locals often walked on the railway.
