As indicated by the name, Mae Klong Railway Market is the market held on the railroad tracks. And the shoppers walk on the railroad tracks to browse because the articles for sale are displayed just beside the tracks. And the shoppers and the goods get out of the way when the train comes.

The shop in this photo was also open beside the railroad tracks and the goods were set out on the ballast on which the railroad tracks were laid. Seemingly, the shop sold dried mangoes, bagged chili peppers, wrapped corn, and others. I thought the dried mangoes were sold as a souvenir.

Watching the goods in the shop, the shopkeeper started to extend his arm to one of his goods. He seemed to be a lazy person. Without moving, he changed the layout.

Becasue it was not a time to a train coming, the atmosphere of this market was no different from other local markets.
