There were electric wires running along the approach to Gokoku-ji Temple. A bird was perched on one of the power lines. It was probably separated from its friends. There were no other birds in the vicinity, and the bird seemed somewhat worried.
In any case, the bird is standing still in the middle of a power line, completely visible to everyone around it. One wonders if it will be targeted by natural enemies in such a conspicuous place. However, not only this bird, but in Tokyo, it is common to see birds resting comfortably on the power lines. Perhaps there are no natural enemies around here that would target a bird of this size. Perhaps that is why this bird is spending its time on the power lines so comfortably and fluently.
