Red Spider Lily In Gokoku-Ji

red spider lily
Shot at Gokoku-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Otsuka, Tokyo tetsuOzawa

The red spider lily was in flower

This temple was built on the order of Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, the 5th Shogun of Tokugawa Shogunate in 1681. Next to the temple, there was a burial ground for the imperial family called Toshimagaoka-Bochi.

I found some red spider lilies blooming during walking around the precinct. They blossomed out as if they wanted to capture the attention. In the silent precinct, they were blooming emphatically. As they wished, I was attracted by them.
