The afternoon sun was mild, and a small pool of sun had formed at the edge of the wooden steps of the main hall. In the pool, a cat was napping comfortably. Its eyes were tightly shut and its body was curled up in a still sleep.
From the looks of it, the place itself didn't look particularly comfortable. Still, the cat seemed to be in a deep sleep and showed no sign of waking up when we gently approached and clicked the shutter. It continues to sleep, completely unprotected.
As I gazed at its sleeping face, I suddenly wondered what kind of dream this cat was having if it was dreaming. If it was having a bad dream, what kind of dream would it be? A dream of being chased? Or maybe it is a dream about not being able to find food. As I pondered these thoughts, the soft light of the late afternoon and the cat's figure gave me a strange sense of calm.
