A reclining chair was placed in the shade between the high-floored houses. And a girl was leaning back in it. It was a lazy afternoon. The place was a space for relaxation for her. It was cooler than to stay in the house in some small measure.
When I approached her, she might be surprised at my appearance. And she straightened up. Although she looked straight at me, she seemed to get shy and cast a bashful eye on me.
