The round-faced girl was tending to a grocery store

Passing through alleys in Thanlyin that stretch intertwining between the houses, I emerged onto a wide street. The road was lined with fences, and cars drove by. The alley to my liking had come to an end. Walking along a well-maintained road like the one in front of me is not uninteresting, but it does not give me the same sense of excitement as walking along a well-maintained road. With that in mind, I decided to go back into the messy residential area.

As I was about to re-enter the alley, I noticed a general store off to the side. The window was wide open, and a variety of snacks were displayed in the window. Disposable razors hung from the ceiling. It was a typical general store in a country town without a convenience store. As I approached the storefront, the girl tending the store noticed me. She stopped her hand and looked at me. I wondered why a foreign tourist would be in a place like this, but then she looked at the camera and smiled at me, showing her white teeth. She was a pretty girl with a round face.
