Smile Of A Cocooned Girl

Cocooned girl

The girl covered her head with a hood

Shot in the city of Thanlyin, Myanmar.

I stood on the platform of a deserted train station. There were no passengers, no trains, no station staffs. The train didn't come frequently and it meant it was deserted most of the day. Standing alone on the platform, a girl was approaching me.

She had a hood thrown over her head to screen from the sun. She had been walking toward me along the railroad. I didn't know the reason for coming whether she wanted to get on a train or was interested in a foreigner. Anyway, she smiled when she arrived at me.
