Shot at Engaku-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa.
The precinct is vast and many small halls stood in it. Because this temple is still used as a training center by the Zen Buddhist. The lighthearted tourists can be hindrances for them who are on the ascetic training seriously. So some temples are not open to the public.
The temple I came was not open, neither. Alternatively, I found a bamboo shoot beside the closed gate. It seemed to arrive fresh from the ground.
