When I was crossing the bridge, I found a man running on the opposite side. Because he was fast, he finished crossing at once. He vanished from my sight. Unlike him, I walked at tortoise-like pace.
This bridge was built in 1940. 'KACHIDOKI' means the exclamation of triumph. The name was derived from the victory over Russia in Japanese-Russo War. Although it was a movable bridge, it stopped working for a long time.
