Young Monk In Precinct

Young monk in precinct

A young Buddhist monk was walking the precinct

Shot at Mangkon Kamalawat Temple, a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand.

There was a main entrance of the hall just in front of me. A big name tablet was hung above the entrance and it was written in Chinese. This temple was located in the Chinatown. It was said this temple was the oldest Chinese Buddhist temple in Bangkok.

The major Buddhist cult in Thailand is Theravada Buddhism. Yet this temple might not belong to the cult. I think the major Buddhist cult in Chinese culture is Mahayana Buddhism. Anyway, I couldn't find out which this temple belonged to even after walking around the precinct.
