Woman Under The Torii

Woman under Torii

The woman was entering the Torii

Shot at Hanazono Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

In a corner of the precinct, a small shrine dedicated to Inari Okami was stationed. And many small Torii were lined up in front of them like a tunnel.

During standing beside them, some worshippers came and went through the Torii. Their figures were seen from between them. The surrounded place seemed to belong to the other world. I thought it was an entrance to the different world in the middle of a big city.
